The outcome of a Person Stop Smoking Episode, at the 4 week follow-up after the Intended Smoking Quit Date on a self-reporting basis. That is those who have received at least one session of a structured, multi-session intervention (delivered by the NHS or one of its trained agents), whose quit status at four weeks from their Intended Smoking Quit Date (or within 25 to 42 days of the Intended Smoking Quit Date) has been assessed (face-to-face, by telephone or by postal questionnaire).

1 | Successfully quit at 4 week follow-up (self-report). This should be those who report not having smoked for 2 weeks after the Intended Smoking Quit Date. |

3 | Non-smoking status not known/lost to follow-up. This should include all PERSONS for whom it has not been possible to successfully follow-up at four weeks (-3 days or +14 days) from the Intended Smoking Quit Date. |
