The registration of a PERSON with a PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION BODY.

A PERSON may have several PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS each of which will be separately identified by its PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION TYPE. This may be due to more than one registration type being able to be held concurrently or that each registration type awarded supersedes the previous one.

In specific professions, an EMPLOYEE must have successfully completed a recognised or accredited training programme and applied to the relevant PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION BODY in order to be registered as able to practice.

A PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION has to be maintained on a regular basis in line with the requirements of the PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION BODY.
