Group Therapy is a SESSION.

Group Therapy is a SESSION where more than one PATIENT attends at the same time, to see one or more CARE PROFESSIONAL(s).  Clinical notes are recorded in each individual PATIENT record.

For the Community Services Data Set and Mental Health Services Data Set, Group Therapy is recorded as a CARE CONTACT.

Note: Group Sessions are recorded when the attendees at the SESSION are not known in advance, and clinical notes are not made in individual PATIENT records.

For the Mental Health Services Data Set, Group Therapy excludes Mental Health Drop In Contacts where each PATIENT is seen individually.
