A Multidisciplinary Team is a CARE PROFESSIONAL TEAM. 

A Multidisciplinary Team is a group of professionals from one or more clinical disciplines who together make decisions regarding recommended treatment of individual PATIENTS.

Multidisciplinary Teams may specialise in certain conditions, such as Cancer.

For the NHS Continuing Healthcare Data Set a Multidisciplinary Team is defined as:

• Two CARE PROFESSIONALS from different healthcare professions or
• One CARE PROFESSIONAL who is from a healthcare profession and one PERSON who is responsible for assessing individuals for community care SERVICES under section 47 of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990.
