A Pharmacist is a PERSON who is licensed to prepare and dispense medicines.
In order for Pharmacists to practise in Great Britain they must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and must renew their registration annually.
Once a Pharmacist registers with the General Pharmaceutical Council, they are allocated a registration number which uniquely identifies each registered Pharmacist. This registration number is a 7 digit number starting with the number 2.
All Pharmacists who are currently licensed to practise in Great Britain are listed on the General Pharmaceutical Council Register.
