Radiotherapy is a treatment used for cancer and, less commonly, thyroid disease, blood disorders, and noncancerous growths or conditions.

During cancer Radiotherapy, prescribed doses of radiation are directed to a target with the purpose of eradicating cancer cells and shrinking Tumours. Radiotherapy can also be used after surgery to ensure there is no further cancer CELLS in an area of the body.
