Type: | Patch |
Reference: | 1882 |
Version No: | 1.0 |
Subject: | UCUM Unit of Measurement |
Effective Date: | Immediate |
Reason for Change: | Patch |
Publication Date: | 30 November 2022 |
Background:
A help desk query has been received querying why items reference UCUM Unit of Measurement.
For the data sets that currently reference the Attribute UCUM Unit of Measurement, they only need to record an amount, not the expression.
To make it clear for users, the Attribute UCUM Unit of Measurement will be replaced with the Class Unit of Measurement
This patch replaces the Attribute UCUM Unit of Measurement with the Class of Unit of Measurement on all affected items.
A short demonstration is available which describes "How to Read an NHS Data Model and Dictionary Change Request", in an easy to understand screen capture including a voice over and readable captions. This demonstration can be viewed at: https://datadictionary.nhs.uk/elearning/change_request/index.html.
Note: if the web page does not open, please copy the link and paste into the web browser. A guide to how to use the demonstration can be found at: Demonstrations.
