NHS Data Model and DictionaryNHS Digital
Type:Patch
Reference:1939
Version No:1.0
Subject:Timestamp Patch
Effective Date:Immediate
Reason for Change:Change to definition
Publication Date:12 May 2025

Background:

It has been identified that a wrong date is present on a number of Timestamp Data Elements.

The affected date is: 2022-12-01T10:15:20+01:00 British Summer Time (GMT + 1 Hour), which is not a British Summer Time date.

The date should be: 2020-08-21T10:15:20+01:00 British Summer Time (GMT + 1 Hour), which is present on other Timestamp Data Elements.

This patch updates the Timestamp Data Elements which are incorrect to match the ones that are correct.

A short demonstration is available which describes "How to Read an NHS Data Model and Dictionary Change Request", in an easy to understand screen capture including a voice over and readable captions. This demonstration can be viewed at: https://datadictionary.nhs.uk/elearning/change_request/index.html.

Note: if the web page does not open, please copy the link and paste into the web browser. A guide to how to use the demonstration can be found at: Demonstrations.
